Destiny is our boat's name, but since we did not get the lettering done, it will be Mast Confusion for one more year. We just put on new Hunter 356 letters this morning after the hull was waxed.
You can see the barrier paint that is installed on after the sand blasting of the old paint.
After many coats of barrier it got the first new coat of bottom paint. It is a red hard coat, the final coats with be Ablative and black. Ablative paint slowly wears down and we will be able to see when it is getting thin when the red starts to show through.
It is going pretty well. Becky and I have been doing projects on the inside and there have been many. It has been a task just going through all the storage nooks and lockers to determine what we can use and how best to utilize the space available.
Starting to get ship shape.
