Day two Smith Creek

Cruised around Smith creek and saw many interesting boats.
This one would have some stories to tell.
 Nice looking ship.
Super Storm Sandy did a lot of damage in this area as you will see in the next few pics.

Mast Confusion was not one of the causalities. Floating high and dry. Actually she was in Fernandia Beach Florida at the time. We actually talked to the owner at the dock. This was one owner before the one we bought her from.
We are in a hurricane hole, very protected. Good thing there is a storm warning right now.

We have left Crisfield and now at the mouth of the Potomac

Goodbye Crisfield, you have been good to us and we enjoyed all the people that we met.
We probably will not come back here, but I would encourage people that are cruising to do a stop.
We past thru Kedges strait and this is Solomos Lump light house.
This is a bombed ship that is used for target practice. There is supposedly others under water so we had to go around that area.
Somebody had a busy day and now at a peaceful anchorage
Our neighbors in Smith Creek anchorage at the mouth of the Potomac.
This was a very nice day coming to an end.

Last day at Crisfield Md.

We saw this biker chick, no not actually this is Delilah, our GrandDaughter.

Crisfield, MD is the blue crab capital of the World

The next few pics are from the fireworks in Crisfield, Md. They celebrate Festival of Freedom on June 27th. The fireworks were great. An hour before the fireworks we were under a Tornado watch.

Today we rode our bikes to Asbury Avenue. There are two Asbury Methodist Churches within a block.
This is the newer church.

The cemetery was just across the street. We looked for any Asbury's and only found two and they were not ready to stay.
This is the corner stone of the old church. Interesting they put the pastor's name.

We are back in Crisfield MD

Becky with her white water rafting gang at Amy's bachelorette party.

We visited Becky's dad. He is 94 and still living at home.
We also visited Becky's mother. She is living in assisted living in Troy. Zachary is also visiting his Great Grandmother.
We drove back to Crisfield, MD in a one way car rental and our friends Mary and Ron Turnau picked us up at the airport in Salisbury and brought us to the boat. We will not have a car from now on.
We had a wonderful dinner and visit.
We also enjoyed one of the famous Smith Island cakes.
The weather has been varied. Ron and Mary got to experience one of the storms that we have had. It comes on you fast and leave you fast.

We have finally sailed Mast Confusion

On our way out to sail we were past by Captain Jason.
She sailed very well and swift. We pulled our in mast sail all the way out.
You can tell she is healing some, but seem very stiff.
Captain Becky is at the helm making some speed records. Well, at least for us on this boat.
Captain Moron is happy happy.

Mast Confusion has moved

Mast Confusion got on a floating dock today. She is happy, happy.
Now if we fall off we do not go down too far, plus in the last pic we have our first storm coming. The marina informed us it will be here in about a half an hour.
 Cool Boat
Ok, not our boat, it is the neighbor and the big brother to Mast Confusion.
This is a popular dock at Somers Cove
Tweety is here too, if you look closely.
The water pump will be here Wednesday and now the wind indicator is causing issue. Always something.
